brother = frère
uncle = oncle
husband = mari
father-in-law = beau-père

This is my dad. His name is Sam.
Sam is a man. Sam and Mike are two men.

Woman (femme)

mum = maman
mother = mère
grandmother = grand-mère
sister = soeur
aunt = tante
wife = épouse
mother-in-law = belle-mère

This is my mum. Her name is Lily.
Lily is a woman. Lily and Daisy are two women.

Boys and girls (garçons et filles)
